The Mount Royal Community Association has re-started Citizen Patrol walks to help keep our neighbourhood safe.

Citizen Patrol is a crime prevention & crime interruption program supported by the Saskatoon Police Service & the public to help create a safer community.

Citizen Patrol was restarted in Mount Royal in June 2015 & volunteers have been out walking & biking weekly. The volunteers can be identified by our vests that say “Citizen Patrol”.

We aid as “Eyes & Ears” for police by patrolling parks, school yards, strip malls & residential areas. We report issues such as suspicious activity, graffiti, obstructing trees & glass on roadways.

Citizen Patrol provides an excellent opportunity to meet other residents of Mount Royal, enjoy fresh air & exercise, & make Mount Royal a safer place to live.

Please consider volunteering.

Anyone willing to volunteer to walk, please contact Jan More {Volunteer Police Liaison & Citizen Patrol Coordinator} via email at or via phone at 306-382-9634
